Join us for Christmas in Onancock. A festive 12 days of fun and merriment celebrating the holiday season.
It all begins on Wednesday December 4, from 5-7pm for Holiday Wine Wednesday at Historic Onancock School. Get a jump on your gifting and share a glass of cheer! Enjoy open studios and holiday music.
HOS will also be holding their annual Holiday Artisans Market on Saturday December 14 from 10:00am – 3:00pm dovetailing with other fabulous activities. Get the full schedule here: onancock.org

Plus live music, open resident studios and a lively auction of Eastern Shore Experiences.

Historic Onancock School and Mallards at the Wharf are teaming up to welcome BTW Bike Tour cyclists. Kick off your cycling weekend with a wine pairing at HOS during the CBES Pre-registration event. Enjoy a red, a white, and a bubbly, each paired with a delicious appetizer prepared by Mallards, as well as a wine and beer cash bar, and visit our open art studios.

Enjoy a walking tour of Onancock local gardens with painters working en plein air. Reception to follow in “The Gallery” at HOS, where you can visit the open studios of HOS resident artists.
Tickets are $30 online through June 7.

Many of the resident artist studios will be open, joined by additional vendors selling their wares in the main Gallery. Come to shop, enjoy live music and meet and greet friends before and after you visit the Holiday Homes Tour. This is one of the many holiday happenings during Christmas in Onancock.

Joint VES Land Trust, along with professional and student artists, for an art show highlighting conserved lands on the Eastern Shore.
The art show and reception is Friday, November 10th. At the reception, artists and VES Land Trust staff will be present to talk more about the paintings, the plein air process, conservation, and the land.
This event is free and open to the public. All paintings will be available for sale with 35% of proceeds benefiting VES Land Trust and their conservation mission.

The Creekside Crawl 5K is a charity event to support the Historic Onancock School Community Center improvements and operations.
There is NO rain date.
Tickets are non-refundable.

Historic Onancock School held the first Creekside Crawl 5K in 2021 with proceeds going toward playground improvements. We hope that you all have been enjoying our new outdoor space!

July 3rd heralds the return of this popular community gathering. The Ice Cream Social and Band Concert returns to Historic Onancock School for FREE Ice Cream, and music by the Accomack Community Band!
This family friendly event is sponsored by OBCA with the assistance of several community sponsors.
Open at 5:30 pm, come early with a picnic dinner, or pick up take out from a local business.
Bring your own blankets, chairs, picnic baskets with beverages and goodies, and set up on the back lawn.
The Playground and green space is open for kiddos to run and play. Enjoy the holiday celebration with neighbors and friends. What's better than ice cream and music in the great outdoors?
