We’re excited to have you at the Pavilion’s soft opening!

Join us for a FREE, family fun concert on stage with Southern Fog Band!

We hope you enjoy the show, respect others, and help us build a great community space. El Piscachin and Eder Up will have food available for purchase. HOS will be selling water, beer, and wine from Chatham Vineyards. Parking will be available at HOS.

What can I bring?

  • Lawn chairs & blankets

  • Sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses

  • Small snacks

  • Phones & small cameras

  • Leashed pets

Prohibited Items

  • Outside alcohol

  • Glass bottles or containers

  • Large coolers/grills

July 3rd heralds the return of this popular community gathering. The Ice Cream Social and Band Concert returns to Historic Onancock School for FREE Ice Cream, and music by the Accomack Community Band!

This family friendly event is sponsored by OBCA with the assistance of several community sponsors.

Open at 5:30 pm, come early with a picnic dinner, or pick up take out from a local business.

Bring your own blankets, chairs, picnic baskets with beverages and goodies, and set up on the back lawn.

The Playground and green space is open for kiddos to run and play. Enjoy the holiday celebration with neighbors and friends. What's better than ice cream and music in the great outdoors?

Rain or Shine. If raining, The event will be held indoors.

A walkable tour of dazzling local gardens where artists will be painting “en plein air” in the gardens.

These paintings will be available for sale the following Wednesday at our Wine Wednesday event on June 4, 5-7 pm.

TICKETS

$35 online until May 30th at 6pm.

They will then only be available at HOS on event day or Raindate of June 1 for $40.

You will receive an email confirming your ticket purchase. Please print the email or bring your phone to show us the email as proof of purchase.

Parking is at Historic Onancock School where you can pick up your badge to get in gardens and receive the homes map.

Join us for Christmas in Onancock. A festive 12 days of fun and merriment celebrating the holiday season.

It all begins on Wednesday December 4, from 5-7pm for Holiday Wine Wednesday at Historic Onancock School. Get a jump on your gifting and share a glass of cheer! Enjoy open studios and holiday music.

HOS will also be holding their annual Holiday Artisans Market on Saturday December 14 from 10:00am – 3:00pm dovetailing with other fabulous activities. Get the full schedule here: onancock.org

Historic Onancock School and Mallards at the Wharf are teaming up to welcome BTW Bike Tour cyclists. Kick off your cycling weekend with a wine pairing at HOS during the CBES Pre-registration event. Enjoy a red, a white, and a bubbly, each paired with a delicious appetizer prepared by Mallards, as well as a wine and beer cash bar, and visit our open art studios.
